Angela is a social marketing strategist and entrepreneur that partners with other entrepreneurs, small businesses, and creative individuals to take their personal and professional brands to the next level. After earning a Bachelors of Science in Advertising & Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology (SUNY) in New York City, Angela has spent the last decade working in a spectrum of digital marketing positions ranging from contributing writer, editor in chief, and blog owner to social media director, strategy consultant, and beyond. Her expertise has landed her as a guest speaker at Harvard School of Business in Cambridge, MA on an all-male panel to discuss the future of music and streaming, as well as guest placements on SiriusXM’s SXMElectro channel, and more.
Angela added CEO to her resume in 2018 with the launch of her creative marketing agency, Authentic Life Media, Inc. and has been focused on helping brands find their authentic edge ever since. Angela continues to work with some of the biggest names and labels in the music industry including Sony Music, Red Light Management, and most recently, Terrible Children Records. Angela’s work with artists has landed coverage in various outlets including Billboard, Rolling Stone, Food Network Magazine, Time Out New York, Wonderland, Hollywood Life, US Weekly, The Nocturnal Times, and more.
In earlier years during her tenures at Red Light Management and International Culinary Center, she was directly responsible for growing client accounts to new social milestones – notably Tiësto’s 20-million fan mark on Facebook and 100,000 YouTube subscribers on Tiësto’s record label, Musical Freedom. Creating social videos, weekly copy, and graphics while strategically planning monthly radio shows, social rollouts for releases, festival announcements, and brand partnership liaising were all in a day’s work during this time. Angela’s vast range of industry experience includes everything from touring alongside artists for creative activations and video production to the planning and execution of a multi-day culinary conference.
